I disagree with this slightly. Taylor Swift and Beyonce will not decide the election. The subversive elements that purchase our politicians utilize Taylor Swift and Beyonce as as political tools. They, just like they have done over the last century, will decide our elections.

Beyond that, the fundamental point is there people, probably many millions of people, who are voting in accordance with some celebrity or what is called a musician these days. Voting is exerting political authority over others. It is madness that we allow such authority to be exercised on that basis, although it certainly favors those who control mass media.
