A Salute to Cats: The Right Needs to Embrace Feline Supremacy

Cats Are Wonderful, Magnificent Creatures

Cats have. most unfortunately, been increasingly associated with the left in recent times. Most recently JD Vance disparaged a certain type of older white woman who votes Democrat as “childless cat women.”  Perusing twitter, particularly during the days of Vijaya Gadde, one sees a lot of transgender “people” sharing images of their cats or otherwise tweeting cat related memes and images. While this will not and cannot be the issue that “brings the nation together,” their admiration for cats is laudable, as cats are something that the right needs to reappropriate from them, so that at the very least cats are associated both with leftist scum and those on the right who resist their civilization ruining madness.

Cats are sacred creatures. As many well know, the ancient Egyptians saw divinity in cats, and for very good reason.  Cats are just as much a best friend to humanity as dogs, if not more so, particularly as cats are a necessary precursor to ancient civilization. For in ancient civilizations that did not have pesticide, storage of grain and other food stuffs in silos would become infested with mice and rats, but for the presence of domesticated and feral cats that keep these vermin out of grain and food storage.

As many also well know, Christian superstition demonizing cats, associating them with witchcraft, which led to the murder of millions of cats, facilitated the black plague, which was carried by fleas on the rats. Without cats to prey on these vermin, rats had free rein, infesting Europe and unleashing the Black Plague in the process.

Cats are magnificent creatures, exuding grace and dignity.  Each cat seems to have his own unique personality, with many cats having a lot more personality than a lot of odious, insufferable people around. Cats also show affection in the most dignified, understated way, from the slow blink followed by closed eyes, to bunting a beloved owner with their wonderful, soft cat fur and tail, to the purring sound they emit when petted. In many ways, cats are endowed with superior senses to our own, having superior hearing and sense of smell.  Their eyesight is different, better suited to seeing at dark and seeing movement.  Only their sense of taste is inferior because they cannot taste sweetness for example because they do not eat things that are sweet.

Everyone from more mainstream conservatives who still do not understand the troubles before us to the real right-wing need to embrace cats as our own.  They truly are wonderful creatures and pets, and we owe civilization in no small part to the role they have played in the history of humanity, beginning with keeping vermin away from ancient food and grain storage to the one thing that would have saved Europe from the Black Plague. Cats are so perfect in design and how they fit in with and complement humanity, their existence gives this right-wing atheist pause, wondering if they are a sign of a benevolent creator. If God were to exist, cats are as a good a sign as any of his design.  ALL HAIL CATS!
