The Psychic Toll:
How Anti-Social Behaviors and Bizarre Manias Affect The Individual and Society in the Instant of the Moment
As society continues to breakdown with any number of undesirable behaviors and manias, a standard refrain has been some variation of “Why do you care?” There are a number of variations of this dogmatic reply. One boilerplate response is “Why do you care what others do in their lives?” “It is none of your business” and “How does it affect you, personally” are two others among many, all spewed out almost like a Pavlovian response, without much thought or reflection.
This topic has been written about before by this author. “This Horrid Rainbow: Defining Deviancy Down and Away” discusses the key, critical concept of Defining Deviancy Down, just as “What Consenting Adults Do Is Our Concern” explores how both the individual and society are adversely affected by what other individuals do in a multitude of different ways, examining how a range of personal vices and destructive manias harm not just the individuals who fall prey to them, but other people in their lives, as well as greater society as a whole. This essay will focus more on how the individual who interacts with or is otherwise subject to such unsavory, undesirable persons, “choices,”[1] and behaviors is affected, in profoundly negative ways, in the very instant, and how these harmful effects on any one individual weaken both the individual’s and society’s ability to resist and deter these behaviors and manias.
There is probably no better single instance of this despicable creed than this utterance, taken from an episode of Dr. Phil in which an old-school teacher, Ray Shelton, challenges transgender and radical gender dogma.
The salient passage reads in pertinent part:
“If a transgender person is not harming you or the people you love, why do you care so much.” …”I don’t want you to care. I want you to be quiet. I want you to stop being hateful.”
If only Shelton had responded by stating, “because I and others have to look at you, and people like you, and listen to you and your kind blather endlessly about your civilization destroying nonsense that harms both individuals and society.” Of course, when transgender and radical gender ideologues and other purveyors of civilization-destroying lunacy trot out these tiresome refrains, they want those opposed to collective madness on a societal scale to act as if all of these insane ideas are perfectly normal and in no way warrant the slightest expression of outrage or any sort of pushback or disagreement whatsoever. They want their opponents to sit, “be quiet,” and take it. She even says—to an elder— “I want you to be quiet.” And far too many have been doing just that.
Setting aside a number of considerations on a more macro, societal level explored in other essays, any sensible individual should care insofar as he is exposed to the sight and presence of the sort of creatures featured on this and similar panels, and more importantly reddit, TikTok, pride parades, ideologically corrupted school boards, and so on and so forth. The creature speaking is grating in so many different ways, from her cadence to appearance; and she is benign compared to some of the more unpleasant specimens. Indeed, Matt Walsh encountered even more unnerving specimens during his appearance on the same show.
An assortment of so-called male to female transgenders, each with a number of physical tells that scream “male.”
Most all of the transgender and gender radicals and “non-binaries” torment the senses of everyone they encounter. So-called “male to female” transgenders, disdainfully referred to with contempt as “troons” in Internet parlance, are almost invariably an affliction on the optical nerves of every sane person left in society. And given the harrowing accounts of the horrors associated with the transgender “vaginoplasty” also known as a “stinkhole,” “stinkditch,” among other terms, many troons, at least those who go through so-called “gender-affirming care” and had their genitals mutilated and destroyed, doubtlessly inflict the sense of smell as well with the rank odor of excrement and disease. Men, very often with a frame more suiting a linebacker or a lumberjack, presenting themselves as women while wearing what would be provocative, tantalizing clothing on a young, attractive woman, are both at once comical, grotesque, and unnerving. Worst of all is when they expose their large, ugly, unmistakably male feet in slutty, open toed heels that are meant for young, attractive women. Polite, sane society does not want to see that!
In trying to harken to Marlon Brando, Page proves it is the exact opposite.
So-called female to male transgenders, known as “pooners” in Internet parlance, are equally grating but for different reasons. Because humans are a sexually dimorphic species, very often the women who succumb to such self-destroying madness can be spotted in an instant. Unusually short stature coupled with smaller bone structure and density signal that something is off. This is one of the reasons why Ellen Page is so unsettling to any sane person who sees her in pictures, interviews, or other appearances. In the cover image to its[2] book. Page Boy, Page, sporting a tanktop, has the audacity to attempt to channel the spirit of Marlon Brando. Brando is one of the enduring male sex symbols of the ages, who captivates the imagination of millions decades after his peak and years after his death. While only 5’9, his somewhat shorter stature nonetheless translated well on camera. Note the V shape in his well muscled shoulders, while also comparing the musculature in his arms versus the incredibly weaks arms, as Page’s bones are so small they are almost certainly those of a woman. It is this indellible vestiges of womanhood that make creatures like this so uncanny and so unconvincing as counterfeits of the sex they covet in vain.
Heather Heyer was right, in a way. If you are not outraged, you are not paying attention.
To the extent some pooners could have at least been marginal to extremely attractive, anyone subjected to the very sight of them suffers another psychic toll, thoughts of what that woman would be like had she not destroyed herself, the effect it has on her family, presuming her family has not been indoctrinated into the madness of the transgender cult. Human compassion and a basic grasp of human nature will also evoke feelings of empathy and sadness for any persons who had once had a romantic or sexual relationship with such a woman. There is no love like the first, and it must be incredibly painful to see one’s first love go down that path.
But why do you care what other adults do? How does this affect you, personally?
Consider these images featuring what was a very attractive blonde Finnish woman. The image on the left shows an attractive young woman that many her age would be eager to date, although the septum nose ring is an unpleasant harbinger of what was to transpire. The picture on the left is both uncanny and grotesque. Taken out of context from the image “before” on the left, in an instant one sees many tells signaling “man,” but these signals conflict with many other tells that do not add up. The beard seems oddly sparce, as the beard line, for lack of a better term, seems below that of most men. From what can be discerned in the photo, it seems this pooner is already suffering from male pattern baldness from the intake of testosterone. even though she (or it) is still probably under 30. Despite doing everything she—perhaps it is now the better pronoun—has done to obliterate most everything that makes this individual a woman, the distinctly feminine cheekbones are still discernible. As with Page and so many others, any person that interacts with this creature would pick up on the number of cues that do not come through in photographs or even some videos. Differences in bone structure and density would be immediately apparent in a face-to-face encounter, as the individual is likely below average height for actual men would also be discerned. These and a number of other cues are discerned in the cognitive process, cues which conflict with the number of extreme measures individuals like these undergo not to transition sex, but to counterfeit the sex they so desperately covet for their own peculiar, twisted reasons; reasons of course that are not their own, but implanted in their brains by a pernicious cultural milieu.
The appearance of most any transgender person invariably signals a vast array of different mental illnesses. With the so-called male to female variety, that very often includes autogynephilia above all. Given the number of news stories and video clips featuring a transgender admonishing a person for “misgendering,” the sight of any such person also conveys the strong likelihood of real unpleasantness if a person does not entertain his delusions. Human resources departments are coercing employees to place their pronouns in company biographies and email signatures. And in some jurisdictions, such as New York, there are civil and even criminal penalties for not playing along, thanks to new “civil rights” laws mandating absolute compliance to the transgender delusion.
The psychic toll goes well beyond transgender lunacy and its cretinous disciples, but is exhibited in myriad dysfunctional behaviors and manias that have infected our culture and society. Take for example these images of an attractive blonde woman, who recently made the news because of a TikTok video she published complaining she could not get a retail job because of her aggressive facial tattoos.
This life decision does not only affect her, but everyone who has to interact with her or look at her.
The very sight of this woman, who would otherwise be extremely attractive, is unnerving. Interacting with her face to face in person would be even more distressing. Because she is, or would have been, an attractive white woman, the sight of her countenance marred almost completely by these facial tattoos signals to everyone who looks at her or interacts with her that she has almost certainly suffered some sort of severe personal trauma. How is a woman like this supposed to be a wife or a mother? What undesirable, harmful elements in the culture could implant the idea and motivation in her mind to do this to herself? What mental illness or other severe personal problems or failings would prevent her from discerning what a terribly bad idea these face tattoos are? What illicit drugs or other life-destroying vices does she indulge to self-medicate whatever crippling ailments she suffers from?
Even a couple years removed from the Covid hysteria, seeing a covid lunatic wearing a dumb mask is similarly disturbing, as it was when mask mandates were in effect. Not being able to see facial contortions along with other non-verbal cues that facilitate verbal communication taxes the cognitive processes involved in what would otherwise be an ordinary, day-to-day interaction with another human being. The sight of any such person is also a reminder of the large number of people who favored draconian measures that violated imagined liberties while instigating a self-inflicted economic catastrophe that is slowly, painfully unfolding over the past four years. A person wearing a mask today indicates to everyone that that person would love to go back to the lockdowns, the mask and vaccine mandates, and other onerous policies that stemmed from Covid hysteria. Anybody who does not feel at least a tinge of anger, resentment, and hatred just does not understand the tremendous damage these people have done to society.
Indeed, a similar sort of “psychic toll” is exacted by much of the radical left, which has embodied more and more a most disturbing phenomenon: biological Leninism. While not formally, explicitly embraced by the left, left wing movements have subconsciously championed lower status people in terms of genetics, meaning the ugly, deformed, and otherwise dysgenic. This perverted aesthetic and ethos, which champions the ugly and deformed while stigmatizing the beautiful, normal, and healthy, effects more than just overtly dysgenic, as the Finnish blonde gal turned mutant exemplifies, among many, many others.
A wall of really ugly, dysgenic people: the splendors of biological Leninism.
The same principle also applies to racially charged elements in mass media and popular culture, whether it is the great race swap perpetrated by Disney and other nefarious players in big media, the increasing ubiquity of depictions of interracial couples in advertising, or when black celebrities, namely Kayne West, openly talk about blacked.com on late night television. The increasing ubiquity of interracial couples in advertising and mass media has its own unique, pernicious effect on the psyche of any person who stands against miscegenation for any number of legitimate reasons. While not quite having reached the same saturation levels reminiscent of totalitarian dictatorships, in which every home is required to hang a portrait of a dictator or where an image depicting the dictator or party in power is inescapable, the interracial imagery in advertising and mass media is certainly on the same continuum. Very often the pairing is somewhat subtle, for example by painting Kelly Ripa with Michael Strahan, Amy Robach with TJ Homes (a matter discussed below), or the not-so-subtle allusion to cuckoldry in a reboot of Let’s Make a Deal triangulating Tiffany Coyne between Billy Bush, who is white, with Wayne Brady, who is black. That pales in comparison to the overt messages promoting race-mixing in advertising and in a plethora of television programs and movies. This is oppressive, stifling to dissidents of the ruling regime, and the increasing ubiquity of depictions of interracial couples is approaching something close to “big brother” in 1984 and its real-life counterparts.
Amy Robach. seated before her dismissal from Good Morning America and with the man she cheated on her husband with.
And this propaganda translates into real life decisions of famous, influential people whose miscegenate sexual escapades and relationships in turn serve as propaganda. One noteworthy example is former Good Morning America anchor Amy Robach. Once a runner-up in the Miss Georgia beauty contestant, the blonde woman is over 50, wealthy, and, one must admit. very attractive. Being both in her early 50s and older, Robach pulls at different sensibilities simultaneously, at once something perhaps maternalistic to younger men, while also sexually desirable to many others of different generations. And she is now twice divorced. Her second marriage ended because she started an affair with her black co-host TJ Holmes. Stories like this weigh on the mind as they remind one of many unsavory, harmful societal trends embodied in just one woman:
· that it is cool and desirable for white women to copulate with blacks, even when married;
· that marital vows are no real deterrent to infidelity, and really do not carry much weight at all;
· because she is wealthy, desirable, and famous, she is influential on the behavior of others, particularly other women.
Robach is of course not an isolated incident, but a sociological and cultural phenomenon. Other celebrity women that exemplify how miscegenation is fashionable include Adele (full name Adele Adkins), Lindsey Vonn, and many others. In regards to Robach, being a celebrity unable to respect marital vows is a trend that has been going on for decades, and very clearly the increasing ubiquity of what is rightly regarded as scandalous and contemptible has eaten away at society’s ability to deter and denounce such undesirable, destructive behavior. For those younger who are still looking to find and marry the ideal woman, anecdotes like these instill anxiety and fear. Her first two husbands were accomplished, successful men, but leaning on the very right edge of the Bell Curve of success was not enough for a woman like that to remain faithful. And so young men who vie for the hand of a woman on a similar level as Amy Robach (at least in terms of physical beauty) pursue such romantic, sexual interests knowing they do so in a sick, dysfunctional society: a dysfunctional, dystopia in which desirable women are increasingly less likely to be suitable as wives, companions, or mothers.
Instances like these, whether in the news or friends, relatives or acquintenances in real life do affect others in very profound ways.
This same rationale applies to any number of vices. OnlyFans continues to have a presence online, either from viral tweets or news stories that one suspects are paid for under the table. In one instance, a cam girl was given a new car by a “simp.” There are myriad stories of the children of cam girls getting bullied by their peers. One tabloid story indicates a thirteen-year-old boy was rendered suicidal because his peers confronted him of images of his mother, teasing him and bullying him relentlessly. What does that convey? Among other things:
· many modern women care more about camming, that is, performing explicit sexual acts online for money, than the welfare of their children;
· sex camming and the very jettisoning of basic moral standards has become ubiquitous, as news stories and sensations on twitter and the Internet abound, as anecdotal reports regarding personal experiences on dating applications and other interactions indicate this phenomenon has become widespread among young women, particularly young white women;
· this in turn suggests a contaminated dating pool in which young men are faced with increasing difficulty in finding attractive young women who are not compromised in profound ways, either by camming, or being single mothers, or abusing drugs and alcohol.
Stories like these, and other stories of single mothers or other women who betray their motherly duties strike at something very basic to our shared humanity. Men and women are of course different, and just as men’s eyes will involuntarily dilate at the sight of a naked woman, women have the same reaction at seeing a newborn baby. The cultural rot, the degeneracy and profligacy are so powerful that they override strong, basic maternal instincts that are hard wired in women.
This essay offers only a very small sample of the profligacy, degeneracy, and abject lunacy that pervades us all. Those who have not fully succumbed to these vices and manias are subjected to the horrible things these people do, the horrible, jarring, unnatural way they live their lives, hundreds of times a day, if not in person, online on twitter, reddit, pride parades, any political protest against Donald Trump or political rally for the left. Extrapolate that over a few years time and any sensible individual is subject to such stimuli many millions of times over. The gradual but inexorable effect is to desensitize both the individual and society. Over time, it becomes harder and harder to see such things as deviant, or shocking, or disturbing. Indeed, images or stories of transgenders and homosexuals at schools or so-called pride events interacting with children is not as shocking as it used to be precisely because it has become so prevalent. All of it has almost become banal it is so commonplace.
This sort of thing has become so commonplace that we are becoming desensitized to it. It has become banal.
For the foreseeable future, various undesirable sorts will, unfortunately, be able to continue to do as they please, often ruining their lives while also harming others and society at large. Whether all such instances and others not covered in this essay should be regarded as personal “freedoms” respected and guaranteed by a more ideal society is open to question. But however one comes down on those issues, society at large— above all those who rightly object to destructive, antisocial behaviors and harmful, irrational manias—must reject the assertion that being afflicted with these maladies does not affect everyone subject to them. This madness affects everyone, it affects us all. We have to look at these people, hear these people, and sometimes even smell these people. We are affected by the things these people do and how they present themselves. For these reasons alone, yes, we do care, we care very much. And one day, perhaps, should the necessary means become available, those so enlightened will see an opportunity to act on those convictions with unyielding resolve and very swift carriage, indeed.
[1] As discussed in “Thrust Into It All; The Individual Defined by Culture and Circumstance,” individual choice and autonomy is imagined to be far more expansive than it is in actuality, at least in the Anglo-American tradition.
